Francesco Di Pierro, MICS President, has been awarded the European NutraChampion Award for 2025

As reported on https://nutraingredients-awards.com/live/en/page/nutrachampion, this award is dedicated to celebrating the most prominent European figures in the nutrition and/or nutraceutical field.

The 20 judges (Image 1) have also based their decision this year on the best combination of:

1) lasting impact in the nutrition and/or nutraceutical fields 

2) broad scientific and public recognition

3) purpose and ethics of the work carried out.

The motivation expressed by the judges, which refers to the important contribution given by the winner to the microbiomics field, is reported in Image 2
